Welsh rams horn walking stick shaped as a woodcock.
 
The shank is hazel and the total stick length measures 96cm. The handle is exquisitely carved from Welsh ram horn and then painted and varnished. The handle is detailed yet well balanced and comfortable in the grip.  The detail on the bill of the bird is beautiful, the feathers are painted.
A brass ferrule has been applied.
The maker is an award-winning maker and has recently retired.
