Wels Rams horn carved into a Salmon!
How beautiful is this!
The horn has been shaped in-to a curve to become almost a flat handle; the fish follows the curvature of the horn.  Each individual scale has been carved in-to the horn and then painted. The colouring and detail are superb and is a credit to its maker. The handle is 13cm.
The shank is hazel and is 94cm
A rubber foot has been applied to the foot (no ferrule)
The maker is an award-winning maker and has recently retired.
