this is a walking stick with a bit of character.  the top ball of the stick is white metal and it 4cm in diameter.
 
the stick is believed to be hawthorn. the colour is a deep red and there are a lot of natural features on the tick,
ther eis a slight bow in this stick. but it deos not effect use.
